On Tuesday 19th May Lady Bankes School celebrated its 90th birthday.  We marked the occasion with the Big Bankes Birthday Bash on Friday 15th May. The children celebrated with a concert through the decades from the 1930s to the present date.  The children learnt and performed a song with their year group.  We had some ex-pupils come to visit, the oldest of whom was 95, and also the Mayor.  The weather had us all holding our breath. However, it eventually turned out to be a lovely sunny afternoon for the after-school event organised by FOLBA. Happy 90th Birthday Lady Bankes!
