Learning about mathematicians throughout history
Each year the children will be learning about mathematicians from throughout history. We want the children to understand that maths has been developed over centuries, providing solutions to some of history's more intriguing problems. The mathematicians studied will be closely linked to the topics each year group study.
Money Makes Sense lessons
Each year the children will be focusing on specific units from the Natwest Money Makes Sense lessons. These lessons are designed to teach the children about financial literacy. Children will learn about where money comes from, how to save and budget, how to keep themselves and their money safe and also how jobs and money are linked together.
